I'm doing this 'the right way' this time. I'm trying to LEARN and UNDERSTAND form and the fundamentals. It will be along process and I will try my best to keep track of it all here. I am hoping to study the figure drawing to understand gestures, weight, distribution of fat and muscle, anatomy and more. I also wish to learn to draw to a fairly realistic standard portraits, then I hope to study colour theories and the fundamentals of light and materials. Wish me luck.

thanks for taking a look! I don't know what i should be working on, trying to get the likeness of references correct or shading or lines or colour haha. Anyway, i love your work and my favourite is the one you've done of Tony Stark, the colours and eye details are awesome!

Hmmm tough decision! I hardly ever do lineart when I paint so I'd probably go for shading. It in involves both color and getting closer to the likeness of the reference.
I sometimes set myself a time limit of 10-15 minutes and do a quick sketch. It's a good practice but in the end every single little step you take will help you improve.
And thank you so much for your kind words! I still need to get one copy of Tony printed for my own wall but I'm out of frames (and money). :'D
